Our roots in the land
Azienda Agricola La Mandorla was founded among the hills of the Oltrepò Pavese, in a land where vines, fields, and blooms are part of an ancient, family-rooted agricultural heritage. The name ‘La Mandorla‘ comes from a dialect nickname in the Pavia area once used by local elders to refer to the zone where the estate is now located. Our estate has grown over time through daily work, respect for nature, and a sincere connection to the land. Each crop is carefully tended, enhancing the quality of the raw materials while respecting nature’s rhythms.
“Before lavender, the estate’s history was already closely tied to the vine. Thanks to the determination of grandmother Maria, this vocation was strengthened over time, evolving from the sale of grapes to their direct winemaking. The vineyards still represent a historic and tangible presence today, an expression of family continuity and of the estate’s connection to the hills of the Oltrepò Pavese.

A continuously evolving journey
Alongside the winemaking tradition, lavender has introduced a new agricultural expression to the estate, one that is more delicate and sensory. Carefully grown, it is harvested and transformed into products designed for everyday wellbeing, personal care, and home fragrance. With its scents, colors, and multiple uses, lavender now stands alongside the vineyards, enriching the estate’s story while keeping alive its connection to the land and the local territory.
In this balance between past and present, La Mandorla continues to grow with a careful focus on the quality and naturalness of its products. Each choice stems from the desire to enhance what the land offers, transforming agricultural work into something authentic, refined, and distinctive. Lavender-based products thus become a natural extension of the estate: simple, elegant, and designed to bring the fragrance, delicacy, and wellbeing of nature into everyday life.
